Greetings to all,
I would like to extend my appreciation to all the clients who have continued to come to me for direction. I would like to share the words written by one of my clients. She has been a gift to me and I have had the honor of seeing her grow spiritually. Through her own work and efforts, she is finding her spiritual path. I have merely carried the lantern to help light her way. I have kept her name anonymous.
“To thine own self be true”
These are wise words, but do we truly understand them?
Insecurity, doubt, fear, worry and loneliness are words and feelings that we all know too well. But what if we realized that we created this for ourselves? What if we took responsibility for how we feel, how we act and what we think?
Your thoughts can be poison or elixir, but we don't seem to recognize that we, by ourselves, constantly choose the latter. He or she says or does this, and so I feel this way...This is not truth. In truth you will find that those words, that are thrown like daggers, are reflections of how they feel about themselves. Therefore, the same is true of what you say, do and think. Negative feelings are contagious; Have no doubt of this. But remember that each person catches the disease before spreading it. No person can be free of the chains of these diseases while they spread them.
This seems impossible, right? It's not. Each person is an extension and a reflection of you. Love yourself and that image in the mirror will reach out and embrace you. Every freckle, every mole and every scar will smile and feel it a blessing to be a part of you. Be true to yourself and you will find much less need for anger, resentment and vengeance. Anyone's negative actions or thoughts are out of lack of love for Self... And if you truly love yourself, you will find you are naturally not pompous or pretentious. You will love yourself and see the person next to you as a part of you. You'll realize that nothing needs to be taken. Open your heart and you may accept it, because it is already there and waiting for you. In you is Creator. Remember who you are my friend or chase your tail to no end. You will find the truth within, but reach outside and you will find empty hands.
