Greetings,
I am often asked by clients, what their path is or are they on the right path. This is a great and wonderful question, but not an easy one to answer.
Our life journey has one path, however, on this path there are twists and turns. Decisions to make and obstacles to overcome. So, how do we know we are on the correct course?
As humans we have to care for our material selves; the body. We live in a world which is at times, overwhelmed with difficulties and unfairness. We have a realistic responsibility to take care of ourselves. This means earning a livelihood which enables us to provide basic needs, for example; food, shelter,
medical care. We also have the need and desire for happiness and love.
If you are taking care of these needs, then you can say you are on the correct material path. If not, then it is time to determine what changes need to be made to get back on track and find your correct earthly path.
Now, more important is our soul path. We are spiritual beings, with a soul and a soul path or journey.
The soul is a spirtual force. The soul is clothed by the body and, the soul and body are unified. We understand the body ceases to function at the end of a material life experiance however, the soul continues to exist.
The soul path is about correction. This takes many life times and the soul returns to the material world many times. The purpose is to reach a level of spirtual enlightenment that will bring us closer to Creator.
We are on a positive soul path when we begin to understand our real life purpose is connected and vital to our spiritual selves; our souls.
It is with this insight and awareness that we can begin to understand what our true reason for existance is. What we are doing here, why we have the challanges we have, why we cannot find happiness and love.
If we begin to have these questions, we begin the journey of enlightenment.
We can begin to gain insight to what our path is by, reading, talking, taking a class, anything that allows us to gain spiritual awareness. Most important is prayer, asking for direction, healing and understanding.
Peace & Love
Seha
